Title: Pharmacy Technician 2

Location: Remote - Houston area, and the states of CA

Duration: 3 months (Potential of Extension)

Shift: 11:30 AM to 8 PM CST









Responsibilities:

  • Call doctors for refills, clarifications, and new prescriptions.
  • Enter prescriptions, and process refills.
  • Our metrics change depending on what job function they are working that day.
  • 72 min referrals worked per day.
Internal/External Groups with which the Candidate will interface:
Required Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills/ Experience:
1. Pharmacy Terminology Knowledge 1. Excellent Teamwork
2. Dosage Calculations 2. Multitasks very well
3. Telephone Communication Skills/ computer savvy 3. Specialty Medication
Education Requirement: State Pharmacy Tech license/Certification and TSBP Registration Education Preferred:
Software Skills Required:
Required Certifications: PTCB for TX-not required for CA or MO Required Testing:
