Work Shift:

Salary Exempt (United States of America) The Planning Analyst will support the planning and forecasting activities, providing critical analysis and insights to drive strategic decisions. This role involves data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as the development of forecasting models and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data to support planning and forecasting activities.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future business performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into trends and variances.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term strategic plans.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of planning activities with business goals.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of planning and forecasting tools and systems.
  • Continuously improve planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a corporate planning or finance environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
