The Role: Director Clinical Operations - Kadlec Clinic

Step into a pivotal role under the guidance of our Chief Operating Officer, where you'll be entrusted with executing the mission, goals, and objectives of 8 primary care clinics and one urgent care clinic in the tri-cities area. As the Director Clinical Operations, you will be instrumental in integrating operations for optimal efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the fiscal health of our clinics through strategic budget preparation. Your leadership will support service line directors and interdisciplinary teams in crafting and executing a comprehensive regional strategy.

What You'll Do:



  • Healthcare Innovator: Champion our Kadlec Caregiver Expectations Standard of Excellence and Code of Conduct. Embrace and propagate our Mission, Vision, and Values throughout the organization.
  • Strategic Collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with fellow Clinical Operations Directors to synchronize patient care, programmatic growth strategies, and operational enhancements.
  • Operational Leader: Utilize resources from our Chief Operations Officer to steer operations towards peak efficiency, quality, and financial success across practice sites.
  • Growth Strategist: Identify strategies for growth and execute plans that align with our overarching organizational goals.
  • Quality Advocate: Collaborate with our Chief Quality Officer and Quality Director to uphold clinical excellence guided by evidence-based practices.
  • Productivity Enhancer: Drive physician and advanced practice provider productivity, ensuring operational and financial sustainability.
  • Mentor and Guide: Empower Practice Administrators and Managers by offering mentorship, removing obstacles, and fostering engagement and success.
  • Financial Steward: Engage with Practice Operating Councils to exceed financial and operational targets, crafting site-specific action plans for optimal performance.
  • Revenue Cycle Innovator: Spearhead revenue cycle initiatives, manage collections, and optimize accounts receivable strategies.
  • Strategic Connector: Cultivate relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, and providers, enhancing patient care and expanding market presence.
  • Team Mobilizer: Lead teams to achieve operational commitments, implementing systems and methods for improving service efficiency.
  • Communication Champion: Maintain open dialogue with the COO to address operational performance and project progress.


What You'll Bring:



  • Education: A Bachelor's degree, with a preference for Business, Healthcare Administration, or Nursing; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in healthcare management, with a preference for 5 years in practice management.
  • Skills and Expertise: Experience in lean process improvement, multi-site management, and specialty area expertise is advantageous. Proven ability in P&L responsibility, fiscal management, human resources, and project planning.
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines, medical ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and effective communication skills.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership in quality improvement initiatives and resource management. Demonstrated ability to lead work groups, communicate sensitive issues, and meet objectives.
  • Fiscal Capability: Capacity to manage fiscal operations, including budget preparation and equipment purchases, while formulating strategic plans for medical practices.
