Job Summary:

This position will provide support and risk assessment and management to the Accelerated Outreach Program

Under general guidance, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and support for business operations, planning and development, and activities covering areas such as business development, human resources, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics and contracts. Typically develop information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other business unit capabilities. May perform certain operational activities on behalf of business unit. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

This is a term-limited, benefits eligible position expected to end April 30th, 2027, with the opportunity to extend based on business need.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Monitoring and Assessment:

  • Review and evaluate business policies, procedures, and operations related to the Accelerated Outreach Program to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and areas of risk within the Accelerated Outreach Program.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.

Risk Assessment and Management:

  • Identify and assess potential risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to the Accelerated Outreach Program.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls within the Accelerated Outreach Program.
  • Prepare and present risk assessments and reports to management.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate compliance requirements and risk information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and risk management activities for the Accelerated Outreach Program are integrated into business processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on matters of compliance.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and risk assessments.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on compliance and risk management activities
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures for the Accelerated Outreach Program.

Scope:
Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying subject matter knowledge. Knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in particular area. Work independently and may instruct or coach other professionals.

The salary range for this position is $85,360.00 - $100,880.00

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.

* Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.

Advanced Excel skills and Data analytics

Power BI skills a bonus

Familiarity with Salesforce

Knowledge of process improvement

Ability to build reports and dashboards.

Wholistic understanding of risk- how to assess it and mitigate it.

Experience in Cyber Security
