About the role:

As an engineering Enterprise Program Manager, you will lead and manage a portfolio of multiple inter-dependent engineering projects for a global development team to advance the next generation of Virtus Front and Middle Office offerings. You will thrive by being a team-oriented player in a highly collaborative environment using agile development processes. The candidate must be a self-starter who is always open to optimizing existing development practices through new technologies, patterns, and processes.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manages a program of multiple inter-dependent projects following theEnterprise Project Managementmethodology (EPMM).

* Be the glue for a global engineering organization of more than 150 product development personnel.

* Support key engineering initiatives projects from a planning, tracking and reporting perspective.

* Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope,quality, time and cost constraints. Manages problem resolution and risk mitigation for escalated issues, problems and risks as needed.
* Leads accurate allocations of resources throughout the program.
* Leads multi-disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors and clients to create anddeploysuccessful programs.
* Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
* Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in FIS and/or in client organizations.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree incomputer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP (Project ManagementProfessional) certification preferred.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Extensive knowledge ofproject managementstandards, processes, procedures and guidelines
* Knowledge of the industryproject managementbest practices, i.e.,Project Management Body of Knowledge(PMBOK) and the FISEnterprise Project ManagementMethodology (EPMM)
* Knowledge of various types of ITproject methodologiesand life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
* Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
* Knowledge of financial services industry
* Knowledge of company's products and services
* Recognized within the enterprise forqualityclient interaction and successful project completion within the defined scope,quality, time and cost constraints
* Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations andsolution developmentprojects
*Resource managementexperience with a team of 10 or more
* Well established network within FIS, outside of current business unit
* Demonstrated ability to establish budgets, forecast and manage financial results
* Demonstrated excellent leadership, problem-solving, team,conflict managementand time management skills
* Demonstrated strong business acumen
* Ability to think and act at an enterprise level
* Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to negotiate externally and internally
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
The most senior professional role. Expert-level depth and/or breadth of skills, experience and proficiency inproject managementand technical specialty. Works on unique, highly complex and/or critical assignments that involve significant risk, strategic impacts to the company's or client's business performance and makes use of the individuals' expertise within the technical specialty. Creates formalnetworkswith key decision makers and serves as a spokesperson for the company. Engages with corporate executives both internally and at client organizations. Often manages larger enterprise-wide teams, large client engagements or sponsors multiple projects. Complete latitude for independent judgment. Generally manages extremely large client programs, i.e., more than 250,000 project hours with a team of at least 200 team members, an internal cost of more than $15 million, and a project duration of 24 or more months of very high levels of risk, complexity, client and/or FIS visibility, and the relationship is strategic to the FIS portfolio. Must possessProject ManagementProfessional (PMP) certification and perform the control boardfunction. Typically requires twenty or more years of work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry OR in a related technical field, e.g.,application development,technology integration,business analysis, clienttechnology consultingOR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Progression to this level is restricted on the basis of business requirements.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $138,600.00 - $232,850.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
