The Circular Economy Business Unit focuses on ensuring that Stellantis' path towards Carbon Net Zero is not only Sustainable but also profitable. Selected individual will be working closely with cross functional product and business stakeholders to ensure the inclusion of Reman products is accurate within all our catalogs to support the needs of both internal and external customers. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Reman parts and the ability to work closely with existing and new suppliers to negotiate the needs of CE to support sales.

The Senior Buyer within the Reman Purchasing team is responsible for sourcing activities supporting various commodities. The purchasing responsibilities include supplier negotiations, sourcing on time and to target, driving annual cost savings activities and development and implementation of global commodity strategies. Lead the resolution and negotiation of commercial issues. The selected candidate will interact with many cross-functional teams such as Parts & Service, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Finance.

What You'll Do:



  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers, Engineering to support the Purchasing process for new projects and Reman programs
  • Release source packages to qualified Reman suppliers and manage milestones to expected timelines
  • Support Product Line Managers & Engineers to identify qualified suppliers to support the programs
  • Negotiate with OEM & aftermarket suppliers to support Circular Economy team targets
  • Release purchase orders in accordance with the Stellantis Purchasing process

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program; Other technical degrees with business background also considered
  • A minimum 7 years of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
  • Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
  • Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders
  • Must be skilled at relationship building, cost analysis, negotiation (both internal and external), benchmarking, time management and presentations to all levels of management
  • Strong use of MS Office Suite/G Suite



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to drive change and influence others
  • Understanding of remanufacturing processes and the ability to work with both OEM and Reman suppliers to negotiate the best terms for proposed CE Reman programs
