Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Rochester, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for daily processing/data entry/validation of records and maintenance of new and existing insurance accounts.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the products and services the client supports.
  • Provide customer service and support to both internal and external clients.
  • Performs data entry of confidential client information and is responsible for the security of this information as files are loaded into the client's systems.
  • Initiates timely new account setup and processes all documentation related to setup and maintenance of new or existing accounts for Worker's Compensation and other insurance lines.
  • Responsible for meeting department quality and productivity standards relative to data input and established timelines.
  • Maintains necessary documents and records to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations.
  • Provides necessary documentation to states, federal insurance agencies, and our insurance partners as necessary.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the client's financial and insurance transactions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Respond to inbound inquiry calls or e-mails and place outbound calls or e-mails to clients' insurance partners and other clients' offices as necessary by the business unit to complete the new account setup.
  • Researches and resolves product and service-related issues from clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Accurately records all internal and external communications used for the accurate and timely setup service and maintenance of new or existing insurance accounts.
  • Maintains positive and professional relationships with clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Utilizes multiple computer software applications with carrier and bureau websites to perform their job duties.
  • Internal systems will include HRIS WebORS Core Advanced Payroll Application and other Microsoft Access databases to ensure the proper setup of new insurance policies and to respond to all client inquiries.
  • Participates in product-related projects or training sessions as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (4 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service/insurance experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Microsoft Office experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Management or Business or Finance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Good prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Multi-tasking abilities, versatility, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of payroll-generated reports and charges for all insurance products/services the client administers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Worker's Compensation Payment Service Agreement and ensures new clients meet their obligations.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
