About the Team

FIS' Omni system helps support all pension administration requirements, as well as pension equity plans, non- qualified plans, and other hybrid plans.

What You Will Be Doing

This high-level individual contributor role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in financial and retirement services. You'll independently solve complex issues, lead by example, and may guide others. Senior management approval is required for entry. Perfect for a proactive, strategic thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and is driven to make a meaningful impact.

Core Responsibilities

  • Problem Solving & Systems Design: Develop or refine procedures to address complex issues, factoring in system capabilities and performance goals.
  • Requirements Gathering: Translate business and user needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
  • Strategic Influence: Guide decisions on priorities, technology solutions, and vendor partnerships.
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, technologies, and vendor offerings to inform business strategies.
  • Business Strategy & Documentation: Define and document strategic goals, business drivers, and objectives.

Process & Performance Improvement

  • Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and metrics to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Evaluate the ROI of proposed solutions to support decision-making.
  • System Integration: Map and document system interactions that support business operations.
  • Impact Analysis: Assess how system changes affect users and stakeholders.

Development & Quality Assurance

  • System Development: Design or enhance complex systems aligned with business and industry needs.
  • Testing & Validation: Create and execute test plans to ensure system changes meet requirements and maintain integrity.

Training & Leadership

  • Training Delivery: Provide training on new systems or processes to internal teams or clients.
  • Mentorship: Support and review the work of junior analysts.
  • Technology Application: Evaluate how new technologies can enhance business operations.

What You Bring

  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in the financial sector, with a strong focus on retirement products and technical support/development.
  • Recordkeeping Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retirement plan administration, particularly with FIS Omni DC.
  • Functional Domain Skills: Proficient in trading, pricing, dividends, trust accounting/reporting, and reconciliation (cash and asset).
  • Analytical Mindset: Independent, self-motivated problem solver with a passion for research and data analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in SQL and Microsoft Excel; experience with programming, AWS, or related technologies is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner with a growth mindset and strong data analysis capabilities.

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Familiarity with Client Relationship Management (CRM)and Retirement Recordkeeping
  • Experience with Call Center/Interactive Voice Response (IVR), such as AWS Connect (Amazon Web Services)

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
