Key Position Details: Job Description: Provides services to patients that are amenable to treatment with this modality. Documents care provided and communicates with referral sources and other treating providers as needed. Principle Responsibilities Provides patient care. Develop, implement and evaluate the patient plan of care based on individual needs including age specific and learning style needs. Documents patient information and outcome specific care provided. Educates patient and families as needed regarding treatment and follow through. Facilitates collaborative relationships. Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care. Participate on quality improvement initiatives, research projects or other initiatives as needed. Promote the goals and vision of Acupuncture as requested. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Vocational or Technical Training - M.S. and/or M.O.M from an accredited institution 2+ years in acupuncture Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years in a hospital or medical clinic based environment Licenses/Certifications Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below: * BLS certification from the American Heart Association * BLS certification from the American Red Cross * Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire) Minnesota Acupuncture License upon hire required National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon hire required Physical Demands Light Work: Lifting weight Up to 20 lbs. occasionally, Up to 10 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $45.40 to $62.82 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
