Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Regional General Manager who will lead and deliver consistent revenue growth through multiple channels including a strong partnership with the Independent Manufacturing Rep firms for the region. The RGM will drive sales activity while providing leadership and strategic management for the Mid-Atlantic Region within the Daikin Applied Service Sales and Direct Sales organization. This position is responsible for executing operational performance at all levels of the region they oversee. The RGM will have responsibility for building high performance teams with additional responsibility for championing initiatives to executive leadership. Location: Remote role based within the Mid-Atlantic Region (VA, MD, WV, DE, PA, NJ, and New York City). This role includes frequent travel to district service/sales offices and customer sites. What you will do:
- Establish annual sales and profit forecasts in accordance with the growth plan for the area and consistent with corporate objectives
- Establish operating budgets for the factory district sales and service operations
- Work with Manufacture Rep organizations to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved
- Evaluate performance of Manufacture Reps including monitoring performance results, maintaining product line sales balance and market share growth
- Develop and lead the ongoing strategy for operational excellence and growth in the factory sales, service and parts areas
- Lead and manage the factory sales and service leadership as they execute their business plan to meet their growth and financial objectives
- Provide sales management leadership and guidance at the regional and district level
- Coordinate relationships between Manufacture Reps and factory sales and service organizations ensuring "one face to the customer" approach is utilized and the appropriate rules of engagement are followed
- Responsible for leading, directing and coordinating the owner and national account sales efforts within region
- Coordinate and interface with various support groups to ensure the appropriate resources are available to the region
- Provide communication to appropriate corporate functions regarding market and industry trends in areas such as pricing, quality, product needs, training and compensation
- Evaluate the performance of direct reports and provide coaching as necessary
- Assist in recruitment of key personnel in the area

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four year college/university or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of related sales experience in the commercial HVAC Industry
- 4+ years of people leadership experience, preferably sales leadership
- Prior experience of managing a P&L in excess of $10 million
- Ability to travel up to 75% or as needed
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

The typical salary for this position ranges from $182,000 - $260,000 plus a targeted sales incentive plan. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
