Responsibilities
- Responsible for management of direct reports
- Responsible for executing the production protocols, scheduling activities, troubleshooting process anomalies
- Adhering to Quality Management Systems and completing associated documentation
- Collaborate daily with teams across the client site
- Execution of manufacturing batch records, work instructions / SOPs, with minimal instruction on a day-to-day basis and a focus on proactive 'right the first time' executions.
- Assist with batch record reconciliation.
- Documentation of all activities to meet cGMP requirements.
- Daily record review, tasks, and databases.
- Forecast and resolve supply and raw material deficiencies.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts with one week outlook.
- Identify deviations, aid in investigations/root cause analysis, and provide input on major/critical deviations.
- Practices and promotes safe work habits and adheres to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Utilizes manufacturing process knowledge and investigational skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement in process operations.
- Provides feedback on document revisions and/or document management including batch production records and manufacturing procedures.
- Coordinates training with team either in class or on the floor, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field is required
- 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience preferred (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
- 3-5 years' industry experience (ex. operating in a gowned, clean room)
- Experience in identifying deviations, aiding in investigations/root cause analysis, and providing input on major/critical deviations.
- cGMP exposure and experience
- Biologics experience is highly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Downstream Production
- Knowledge of deviation investigations
- Knowledge of chromatography, cell culture, and aseptic techniques is strongly desired
Estimated Min Rate: $80000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $90000.00
