Position Summary Under limited supervision, train and supervise tracking, filing and imaging of all documents necessary for the aid awarding process.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee weekly mailing of award notification and missing information letters to students
- Oversee logging in, sorting, organizing, electronic tracking and filing of all documents necessary for the aid awarding process
- Oversee deposit and reconciliation of incoming scholarship checks to university accounts in conjunction with the scholarship specialist
- Monitor level of accuracy and speed with which information is entered into the database
- Maintain file storage, imaging, and retention
- Supervise file destruction
- Prepare routine mailings
- Act as back up to reception function
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or an equivalent certificate and a minimum of one-year experience directly related to the duties specified is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge in the use of standard office equipment including typewriter, calculator, computer hardware and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
