The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facility systems. This role ensures the effective operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, janitorial, and waste management systems. The Facilities Supervisor will coordinate contractor activities, perform skilled trades where applicable, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Our Commitment to Employees:

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facility systems.
- Manage ordering and stocking of building bathroom and kitchen consumables.
- Oversee contractors installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, security, janitorial, furniture, and signage.
- Coordinate contractor and skilled trades work while performing hands-on skilled trades work where applicable.
- Maintain regular communication with landlords regarding obligations, severe weather response, public utilities, CAM reconciliation, and lease matters.
- Assist in creating and managing the annual facilities budget.
- Track work orders to ensure service and quality standards are met.
- Provide support for construction projects as necessary.
- Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance, painting, and carpentry projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws to maintain a safe and effective working environment.
- Collaborate with local fire departments, police, and other jurisdictional authorities as necessary.
- Maintain security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and burglar alarms.
- Support and facilitate the Business Continuity Plan.
- Participate in periodic "Gemba" walks and other production meetings.
- Assist in the maintenance and coordination of the Omron emergency alert system.
- Maintain business licenses and ensure compliance with related regulations.
- Perform routine facilities inspections and implement necessary corrections.
- Coordinate waste disposal, training, and ISO14001 program initiatives.
- Assist in implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, managing chemical labeling, SDS management, and OSHA injury recordkeeping.
- Represent Omron professionally, ethically, and courteously in all interactions.
- Uphold Omron's guiding principles in all business dealings with employees, distributors, and colleagues.
- Report directly to the Sr. Director of Facilities and EHS.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or skilled trade certification preferred.
- Experience in facility maintenance, contractor coordination, and building operations.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency preparedness, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform hands-on skilled trades work where applicable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to facility management.
- Proficiency in tracking work orders and maintaining records.
- Experience with business continuity planning and emergency alert systems is a plus.
