Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Chicago, IL (3 days per week -T - W - TH) Duration: 2 months with a possibility to extend Project Overview: PublicWebsites dedicated to delivering innovative and differentiated experience to clients and employees. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions solution for the Public WebSites. Contractor's Role: As a DevOps Engineer you will: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Identify and propose improvements in our development process, from accepting incoming work to the release of that work Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery Advocate for efficient methodologies and practices within the team Communicate effectively with leadership and team members, sharing concerns and suggestions for improvement Ensure that all operations comply with organizational standards and best practices Qualifications (Must Have's): Proven experience with GitHub Actions Enterprise-provided Docker Images Content Management Systems Various languages such as Java (Spring), Node.JS, TypeScript Strong understanding of Agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process improvements Strong communication skills and the ability to voice concerns and suggestions to leadership and the team Experience in ensuring operations meet organizational standards Minimum 7+ years of system architecture design and implementation experience Candidates should be prepared to discuss: Experience with GitHub Actions, including specific examples of past work How they have identified and implemented improvements in the development process in previous roles philosophy and experience with regards to DevOps Examples of how they have effectively communicated concerns and suggestions to leadership and team members
