Key Responsibilities:
- Master the use of our advanced product.
- Participate in selecting platforms and tools for documentation creation.
- Collaborate with systems engineering to establish programmatic links between our system model (developed with Cameo Enterprise using SysML 1.6) and the product's documentation.
- Develop strategies to integrate auto-generated API documentation with manually written user guides.
- Produce technical writing to describe product functionalities.
- Create high-quality diagrams and visual aids to illustrate supported workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with multiple complex developer-facing software products and their documentation.
- Strong familiarity with frameworks for creating excellent and interactive software documentation.
- Deep understanding of what constitutes excellence in software product documentation.
- High proficiency in technical writing for software products.
- Basic knowledge of robotics and aviation concepts.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with software engineering practices related to versioning, packaging, and deployment.
- Quick thinker and doer, capable of generating results rapidly with minimal input to facilitate iteration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in software engineering or relevant training (preferred).
- Experience in the robotics industry is preferred.
- Experience in the aviation and/or aerospace industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with System Modeling using SysML (preferred).
