Protective Dealer Representative - Pittsburgh Paints Company

The Protective Dealer Representative is responsible for growing sales of protective products for the Pittsburgh Paints Company through the dealer channel.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team reporting directly to our Sales Director - Protective (West) while working in the field.

• Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within the sales territory.

• Facilitate product recommendations (application, performance, training, and color).

• Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.

• Use ClientLink CRM tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, and run reports.

• Analyze territory performance and develop sales territory business plans.

• Use initiative in handling customer problems, complaints and warranty issues to resolve promptly.

• Be a technical service advisor for dealer representatives, end-user dealer representatives and dealers.

• Assist dealers looking to grow end-user protective customers.

• 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience

• High school diploma is required.

• Experience with protective coatings.

• NACE and AAMP Certifications.

• CRM software experience preferred while previous coatings experience is sought after.

• Ability to work a large geography to promote growth, driver's license required.
