The Impact You'll Make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for Global Supply Chain Management's Technology Commodity team. You'll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.

In this role, you will directly contribute tosmooth rollout of Lam's New Product Integration (NPI) supply chain programs and projects by delivering strategic directions on resource alignment, prioritizing strategies, managing project progress and performance, and handling stakeholder expectations.

What You'll Do
  • Executing the strategy developed by commodity leads, gaining alignment, motivating and engaging both internal and external stakeholders to fulfill the project objectives
  • Driving cross-functional projects and recurring activities to ensure the successful transition of alternative material qualifications and implementations
  • Managing the transfer of complex semiconductor WFE components from prototype status to production status by interfacing with technical design teams, production readiness teams, and suppliers
  • Managing Lam expectations through anintimate knowledge of supplierprocesses and assisting design teams through knowledge of suppliercapabilities and limitations
  • Assessing project risks and driving mitigation activities
  • Managing project-specific supply chain readiness and communicating status
  • Building rapport and collaborative relationship with assigned suppliers to ensure accountability system is in place, operating model meets the needs of both organizations and NPI capability roadmaps are aligned
  • Operating across boundaries and prioritizing the activities of the organization to achieve best-in-class results
  • Developing and presenting meaningful and impactful messages to a wide array of internal and external audiences
  • Monitoring workfrom project initiation through completion, providing support and direction, and escalating issues until resolved or mitigated
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Eight (8)years of experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years of related experience in project management or program management
  • Experience in interfacing with or managing relationships with external suppliers
  • Technical acumen or interest in technology that enables productive relationships with technical design teams
  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the process steps involved in the production of complex subassemblies
  • Detail-oriented, Agile, Tolerant of Ambiguity, Self-Driven

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $89,000 -Max $205,000.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
