Join us as a Sr Manufacturing Engineer Your main responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities: Senior Engineer (Manufacturing Process) for Schindler Elevator Corporation at its Hanover, PA location. Design, implement, and testing new procedures to optimize project productivity and quality measures. Primary duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: * Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows. * Optimize productivity and/or quality by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures. Assemble report to document process status and changes. * Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades. * Communicate findings and proposals to upper management. * Utilize process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies. * Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes. * Conducts risk assessments. * Asses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. * Review and validate proposed product changes and new product implementation. * Plan and lead Kaizen events to support continuous improvement opportunities. * Implement BOMs within MRP system with process and material flow setup. * Analyze new equipment and process technologies for potential application in elevator and escalator products. * Support Engineering analysis in solving complex manufacturing, installation, and service problems. Job requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related technical field of study; plus 24 months of experience in the offered position or other closely related positions. Experiences may be concurrent. What's in it for you?
