Description: What you'll be doing Another Source's client, Fresno State University, is recruiting a Director of Development for the Colleges of Science and Mathematics to join their team in Fresno, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead fundraising and philanthropic engagement efforts across two dynamic academic colleges, supporting student success, faculty research, and community impact. Here's a little about each of the Colleges and the position they are recruiting for: College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) The College of Science and Mathematics prepares future scientists, mathematicians, health professionals, and educators through hands-on research and academic excellence. With over 4,500 student majors, 108 full-time faculty members, and more than $5M annually secured in grants, the college is a hub for innovation in cancer research, biotechnology, environmental science, and STEM education. College of Social Sciences (COSS) The College of Social Sciences fosters critical thinking and civic engagement across diverse disciplines. With programs in sociology, political science, history, criminology, and more, COSS prepares students to become leaders and changemakers in their communities. What you will be doing: As the Director of Development, you'll lead fundraising efforts for both COSS and CSM by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major and principal gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations. In partnership with the Deans of both colleges and the Associate Vice President for Development and Comprehensive Campaigns, you'll craft and execute campaign strategies aligned with institutional and college priorities. You'll also serve as a liaison between the colleges and central advancement units, contributing to university-wide campaign planning and engaging volunteer leaders, boards, and philanthropic partners to deepen donor relationships. This is a key leadership role that drives strategic fundraising priorities and plays a vital part in the University's mission to serve the Central Valley and beyond. The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is: $92,000 - $97,000 based on experience. How you will be spending your time:
