Purpose of Position
Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as aircraft parts, licenses/agreements, hardware, electronics, and raw material for the organization. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree from college or university in a supply chain discipline; and a minimum of eight years' experience; AS in related discipline with ten years; or High School diploma with twelve years; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a thorough understanding of buying and sourcing techniques, and knowledge of local, regional and national major vendors. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; Able to apply concepts of basic algebra. REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
