Halff has an immediate opening for a land Survey Crew Member in our Brownsville, TX location. This entry level position requires working outdoors assisting a Land Survey crew. Survey experience is desirable but not required. This position offers an excellent career development opportunity for someone looking to grow with Halff, with potential for not only business and personal growth, but ownership in the firm.
Survey Crew Member Requirements:
- Familiarity with handheld computers (tablets, iPads, etc.)
- Good penmanship.
- Ability and willingness to follow written or verbal instructions.
- Dependability, and being disciplined and highly responsible regarding punctuality to maintain good attendance each day.
- Ability to offer flexibility to work outside of standard hours to include overtime/weekends to meet project deadlines and accommodate valued client needs.
- Ability to complete physical labor for up to 12 hours per day outside in the changing elements.
- Strong desire to be a positive representative to Halff and model a professional example.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work starting 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday
- A valid TX Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug and background screen.
- Travel generally up to two weeks at a time may be required for position, up to 50%.
