About the Opportunity

WeWork is seeking a seasoned and strategic marketing leader to serve as the Senior Director of Global Growth, overseeing Demand Generation and Performance Marketing on a global scale. Reporting directly to the Global Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, this role will drive WeWork's performance marketing efforts across all media, email, digital marketing, web, and SEO. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead complex, global marketing initiatives within a matrix organization and a proven track record of delivering measurable results across both B2B and B2C audiences in various regions.

This position requires expertise in demand generation and performance marketing for a global organization, with a focus on driving, measuring and optimizing impactful campaigns and lead generation efforts targeting SMBs, real estate brokers, and enterprise clients. Prior experience working in the commercial real estate sector or a similar field is highly desirable.

The role demands exceptional cross-regional and -functional collaboration skills, cultural fluency, and the ability to manage and execute strategies that address both global opportunities and local market nuances. Responsibilities:

Global Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a global demand generation and performance marketing strategy aligned with WeWork's business priorities.

  • Monitor and report on global marketing performance and ensure campaigns are optimized for impact across multiple regions.

  • Adapt strategies to address the unique dynamics and challenges of international markets.

Demand Generation Across Regions:

  • Lead global initiatives to drive and nurture leads across B2B and B2C segments, including SMBs, brokers, and enterprise clients.

  • Create scalable marketing funnels tailored to regional and local needs while maintaining global consistency.

Media & Advertising:

  • Direct the global media strategy, optimizing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels for various markets.

  • Leverage testing and data insights to refine messaging and enhance performance in key regions.

Email & CRM Marketing:

  • Build and execute global email marketing programs to engage, nurture and retain diverse audiences throughout their respective customer journeys.

  • Leverage CRM systems to personalize customer experiences across regions, driving measurable results.

Web & SEO:

  • Oversee and manage the global web presence and experience to ensure it operates as a high-performing, regionally relevant lead-generation platform.

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve visibility and organic traffic across international markets.

Data-Driven Insights:

  • Analyze and report on global campaign performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Drive refinement of global attribution models and forecasting.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, build and mentor a geographically distributed high-performing marketing team of 10+ people, as well as external agency partner relationships, across demand generation, digital marketing, and SEO.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence globally.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

  • 12+ years of experience in demand generation, performance marketing, or growth marketing in a global capacity.

  • Proven success in driving lead generation and capture for both B2B and B2C audiences, ideally within commercial real estate or professional services.

  • Expertise targeting SMBs, brokers, and enterprise organizations with tailored marketing approaches.

  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Search and CRM systems).

  • Experience building and managing global marketing budgets with a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable ROI.

  • Deep understanding of global SEO and SEM best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Strong cross-regional leadership skills with experience managing geographically distributed teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Base Pay: $180,000 - $240,000

*The base pay above is for New York based hires only. If hired in a location other than New York, base pay may vary.

Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, 11 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
