Position Summary:

The Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and devices, including motors, lighting systems, and plant electrical systems ranging from 110V to 480V. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, follow safety procedures, and use various tools and equipment effectively. The technician will also assist in maintaining production presses, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.




  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including motors, lighting systems, and plant electrical (110V, 240V, 277V & 480V).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and written instructions.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure workplace safety.
  • Utilize multimeters to diagnose electrical issues.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment, including grinders, drill presses, and pipe threaders.
  • Properly bend conduit and size wire for rated loads.
  • Assist in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production presses and associated equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.



Must Have:



  • High school diploma or GED with five years of related experience/training or a two-year technical/trade school degree or recognized certification/license in a relevant technical area.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong reasoning skills to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, work in high-heat and humid environments, and frequently stand, walk, and use hands for handling tools.



Good to Have:



  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and electrical safety codes.
  • Hands-on experience with machine oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex materials.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting work processes.

  • Work environment includes moderate noise levels and potential exposure to high heat and humidity.
  • Employees must follow all safety procedures, including accident reporting and evacuation protocols.
