JOB DESCRIPTION: The Manager Dining Services manages and coordinates the provision of retail food service for the UVMMC. The area of focus includes visitors, staff, and catering services. This position is responsible for promoting a high level of food and service quality, and for maintaining profitability in all retail operations. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Hotel and Restaurant Management. ServSafe Certification required. EXPERIENCE: Five years of progressively responsible experience in nutrition and food service management, preferably in institutional or high volume restaurant or hotel environment. Management experience working in a complex organizational setting and demonstrated ability to interact with and coordinate activities with various internal and external constituents. |
