OSI Systems is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. This individual is responsible for supporting systems related to Sales, Manufacturing, Service, Human Resources and Finance activities. They will have a solid understanding of the business and its goals and direction. In addition, they will work directly with business customers across multiple divisions and will serve on minor, medium and major projects from time-to-time. This individual will help analyze and solve application issues working with users and developers. As such they will be involved in analyzing, designing and testing the proposed solution. They will have good knowledge of manufacturing processes, test protocols as it relates to PCBA and security scanning machines. They will also be required to work on test protocols and integrating them with ERP system to match our current machine assembly.


Responsibilities

  • Work with the IT application Managers to prioritize tasks and projects in order to maximize customer satisfaction - product quality and timeliness.
  • Meet with key business users to uncover process and application improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews to detail business and technical requirements.
  • Work with Manufacturing, QA team to ensure that test protocols are added to MES system.
  • Help business users with data analysis to identify trends.
  • Serve as the business analyst on major projects to gather requirements, build process flows, create test and training plans, and execute test.
  • Follow IT standards and methods for requirements definition, application design, use case and test plan development and creation of training materials for applications.
  • Develop reports as requested by management or customers for enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM and BI.
  • Assist with the creation of data models and database designs to meet business needs.
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 customer support for questions regarding application functionality and troubleshooting related to issues with enterprise applications.
  • Promote the clear understanding and effective use of technology, specifically applications throughout the company.
  • Provide technical guidance to IT peers, IT leadership and other departments regarding business process design and improvement and the use of enterprise applications.
  • Grow the in-house IT expertise in the areas of application and process design by seeking training and joining expert associations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management or a combination of similar fields.
  • 3 years experience working with MES(Manufacturing Execution Systems) for assembly test protocols, ideally experience supporting a home grown system.
  • 3 Experience with implementations and support with D365 F&O and CRM desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills are needed.
