Position Summary

As and Electrical Engineering Manager you'll join a dynamic team driving cutting-edge advancements in our land base casino gaming products. In this role, you will lead a team in the full cycle of electronic systems development with emphasis on embedded systems, gaming computers, power distribution, and controls. Your work will shape the future of Light and Wonders products from concept to production.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering, you'll collaborate with key teams to make a real impact across the business, in a forward-thinking environment that leads the industry.

Job Summary:

Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, test electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems for Casino gaming applications.

  • Lead and co-ordinate Electrical Engineering development and sustainment.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff members within the Engineering team.

  • Delegate, schedule, and coordinate workload for projects and team members.

  • Provide technical leadership on designs, test, and sustainment's efforts.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 10+ years' experience in Electrical Hardware Development, Test, and sustainment (full life cycle).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading an engineering team.

  • Proven capability in technical project leadership.

  • Highly proficient at organizing, scheduling, and coordinating design partner activities and deliverables.

  • Experience with the full life cycle of electronic systems development (i.e. concept definition, software requirements, working with distributors, selecting parts, developing design requirements, and manufacturing).

  • Strong knowledge in circuit board design using various ICs, voltage regulators, microcontrollers and processors.

  • Strong knowledge of various communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS-232, RS-485, JTAG, and PCIe.

  • Possess the fundamental conceptual knowledge of FW interaction with HW.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required
