Job Duties: Associate, Sales with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Create comprehensive wealth management plans, asset allocation, and location strategies for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Formulate and express investment views for clients' portfolios, fielding questions on what is happening in the markets, and outlining the Firm's investment thesis for the future, which encompasses all global asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending. Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies. Deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of the firm's US-based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Create and apply business development strategies, including the sourcing and development of a strong network of intermediaries and referral sources to increase the firm's assets under management and further Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals. Use data analysis and coding skills to extract business intelligence from publicly available databases with relevant information about the ultra-high net worth sector in the country.

Job Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years of experience with a Master's or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with a Master's or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's with: experience creating multi-asset allocation plans at an institutional level and assessing the suitability and relevance of specific investments to meet client objectives; experience filtering, analyzing and selecting investment products at an institutional level, including mutual funds, ETFs and other investment vehicles; experience trading stocks, bonds and derivatives at an institutional level, understanding the different trading algorithms, limits and techniques to minimize price impact; deep understanding of options theory and trading, including all elements that affect their pricing (greeks) to assess the attractiveness of structured products; proficiency using market data platforms such as Bloomberg (API level), and experience using different programming languages (including VBA, Python, SQL) for data analysis purposes, as well as for process automation and optimization; understanding of Equity Valuation techniques such as DCF or LBO to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities; and understanding and involvement with back office and middle office processes, including valuation and performance calculations, risk management (including volatility, VaR and Skewness calculations), trade settlements and other relevant processes that could be sensitive to clients. Domestic travel and to US territories, mainly Puerto Rico, is required to build relationships with clients. Travel up to 20% of the time is required. All costs covered by Firm.
