About the Role

Canon U.S.A. Inc.'s Corporate Human Resources department is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support our client service employee population. This position will primarily focus on benefits and leave matters.


Your Impact

- Provides guidance on routine employee relations issues; trains, coaches and counsels managers on policies, procedures regarding leave and payroll matters.
- Participates in investigations of internal complaints of discrimination, ethics violations, unfair practices, fraud and theft.
- Advise employees and management on the appropriate processes for resolving leave, benefit, and payroll issues.
- May conduct exit interviews.
- Provides guidance to employees and management regarding the application and understanding of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, Equal Pay, ADEA, etc.
- Provides advise, resolution and facilitation in areas of payroll and benefits.
- Analyzes data such as applicant flow, hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary information, training, investigations, accommodation requests, and complaints for required government reporting and internal monitoring purposes towards affirmative action compliance.
- Responsible for processing organizational changes and restructuring consistent with promotions and transfers.


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- -0 -3 Experience as an HR Representative, payroll, benefits and/or leave administration.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses full understanding of federal and state law, including EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, STD and wage hours.
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to interface with first line managers.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- May require up to 20% National travel including overnight stays (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary), may vary based on need.
We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $54,460- $81,550 annually

Workstyle Description

Hybrid - This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office three days a week and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).
