Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Assist in helping KGPCo achieve increasing revenue and profit by providing full sales support by entering orders, quotes, and managing the daily activities generated by shipment and invoice discrepancies. Time management and multi tasking skills are necessary. This position requires vast knowledge and understanding of how our business works cross functionally between departments; as well as specialty processes for specific customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Research, analyzes and prepares price quotations for customer based on department guidelines to generate incremental profitable business for KGPCo.
  • Provide excellent customer service by accurately responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of products and competitor's industry trends. Remain knowledgeable of vendor products and discounts.
  • Provide pricing and availability quotes to customer and recommends alternate products when appropriate.
  • Update and maintain CRM database with customer information.
  • Team with Field Sales, Inside Sales/Customer Care, Product Management and Suppliers to maximize sales efficiencies.
  • Ensure that all quote and CRM processes are accurately documented, communicated to the Sales team, and posted on KGP Hub.
  • Achieve budgeted financial objectives in Revenues, Gross Margin, and Premier Revenue.
  • Drive and implement process improvements to increase work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reduce Customer Complaints by passing along customer concerns to Inside Sales so that the issue can be logged and addressed.
  • Assist in achieving customer satisfaction by improving response times and adhering to established SLA goals.
  • Proactively follow-up with vendors and customers as needed regarding quotes.
  • Partner with team and other stakeholders to ensure company polices and processes are well integrated.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Manager.
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration on issues through increased communication, ownership, and teamwork.

Safety Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
  • Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short communications, and memos; draft simple written correspondence; and effectively communicate in one-on-one or small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Capable of performing calculations involving American currency and standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
  • The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
