Staffmark is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor in Melrose Park, IL for a direct-hire opportunity to manage daily warehouse operations, focusing on staff, materials, equipment, and fulfillment while ensuring excellent customer service.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

Shifts Available: Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (either 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with occasional half days on Saturdays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, and sanitation standards.
  • Execute corporate policies and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Plan and schedule distribution services (receiving, storing, shipping, and maintenance).
  • Ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
  • Monitor space layout and recommend process improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Administer discipline and monitor transportation company performance.
  • Open and close the facility as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills (algebra, geometry).
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for operational procedures.
