As the Maintenance Specialist, you will oversee the maintenance function on site with the goal of minimizing equipment failures to maximize OEE. Ensure maintenance is done in compliance with company procedures and specifications and following EH&S standards. This position is located in Barberton, OH and you will report to the Area Manager. Responsibilities: Ensure that plant maintenance procedures are in place, understood, and followed. Coordinate with production and shipping schedules to maximize maintenance during scheduled equipment downtime. Make daily route of equipment to condition monitor. Find root cause of repetitive failures and actions to correct. Be the contact for all maintenance work including with vendors and contractors. Maintain SAP Work Order system including an accurate backlog and equipment history. Maintain SAP Master Data for equipment including BOMs. Understand which maintenance tasks are capital or expense. Participate in monthly and yearly budgeting. Initiate/review/approve Management-of-Change (MOC) requests via the MOC system. Qualifications: High school diploma required; a bachelor's in engineering preferred 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience Experience with SAP PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
