Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead all aspects of the Optum Financial Consumer business: B2C communications, B2B communications, sales enablement
  • Build and evolve communication channels using Adobe journeys
  • Manage a highly dynamic business in a high growth environment
  • Own the brand and story evolution to take it to the next level
  • Be directly responsible for member engagement, contributions and spend
  • Introduce new capabilities, e.g., A/B testing, 'pod' marketing structure with agile methods, quantitative analysis and more

Required Qualifications:



  • 15+ years in a data driven, consumer-first marketing organization
  • Experience leading all aspects of lifecycle marketing and more in a fast growing, $1B+ revenue tech company
  • Demonstrated quantitative or analytical background (ability to know how to measure ROI, attribution etc. and partner with analytical teams)
  • Experience guiding and inspiring highly creative or design teams - copy, visuals etc. - to drive "next generation" engagement
  • Experience with putting robust processes in place that allow a business to scale (e.g. intake processes, prioritization processes etc.)
  • Experience leading a total team of 25+ people across a range of levels and disciplines to grow, develop and make them better than they thought they could be
  • Operating ownership - not just strategy - of acquisition and lifecycle marketing...you know how different channels work and how to make the most of them and measure them
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively across a range of disciplines including tech, sales, operations and more to "get it done" without excuse
  • Proven unapologetic in attention to detail. Ability to see inconsistencies in creative where others don't



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in large scale health care, fintech, payments, CPG, retail
  • Experience specifically with Adobe

The salary range for this role is $150,200 to $288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
