JOB MISSION:

The Director of Site Visual Merchandising, Global DTC role will play a pivotal part in the Global Digital Business strategy by facilitating Global Product & Marketing stories along with digital capabilities to drive consumer end-in-mind ecommerce experiences. This role will lead a team of data driven site merchandisers to improve and optimize the site experience while ensuring brand storytelling is relevant through-out the journey. This role orchestrates cross collaborative workstreams, developing best in class digital experiences while balancing global brand led priorities with regional commercial needs from the beginning stages of go-to-market (GTM) process thru site execution. In partnership with Digital Product and Brand Marketing teams; this role is responsible for multi-category end to end seasonal site strategies, trends and improvements to improve product discovery and brand experience.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Drive multi-season Site Merchandising roadmap, creating consistency across global and regional DTC workstreams
* Lead seasonal multi-category data-led site merchandising strategies designed to elevate the NB brand site experience and drive growth
* Ensure landing and product pages are optimized with brand storytelling, product placement and experience supported with analytical insight
* Drive global DTC commercial creative content strategy thru data insights and market trends; partner with global Marketing teams to identify relevant content needs to drive financial and brand goals
* Inform teams of best-in-class industry trends, innovation and consumer behavior leveraging insights & analytics
* Partner with Digital product teams to improve site functionality; creating A/B testing scenarios
* Lead and guide a high-performing team fostering a culture of creative innovation while balancing the need to improve site experience and drive category growth
* Partner with regional ecommerce leaders to ensure site strategies will be effective for local markets, identify localization opportunities

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

* 10 or more years of E-Commerce Visual Merchandising experience and a strong cross functional, creative and executional background.
* This role requires an excellent visionary, collaborator and communicator with a strong aptitude for data-based decision making while also balancing the need for creative and product storytelling.
* The successful candidate is a proven and inspirational leader, a problem-solver in a fast moving and complex environment.
* Must be a champion of the consumer and brand at all times
* Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and timelines simultaneously while ensuring accuracy is not compromised.
* In addition to strong creative skills, they must be adept at communicating and summarizing findings in both written and verbal formats.
* Candidate must be a self-starter and able to manage ambiguity.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
