The posted UC salary set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnelprograms/files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation beyond this base salary. This care can be in the subspecialty areas of Headache Medicine and Facial Pain. The UCLA Department of Neurology is a high-volume center, and the successful applicant will work closely with neurologists of many subspecialties in an exciting academic practice. The goal of this recruitment is to broaden the training for medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of headache and expand clinical care for patients and families. The successful incumbent will also participate in community outreach and CME activities for related health care providers. The successful applicant must have completed an appropriate subspecialty fellowship program, such as in Headache Medicine.
