Medical Assistant
needed for a contract
opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Kansas City, MO.

This is a front and back office position (mainly back office). Busy clinic that offers Occupational, Primary, and Preventative Care for employees.

Mon-Thursday 730am-1230
Friday 730-500pm with a 30 minute lunch

Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Certified Medical Assistant

  • Timely and effective communication as demonstrated through strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Required: experience with primary care services including phlebotomy

  • Minimum of two-three (2-3) years' experience as a Medical Assistant


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Room patients, vitals, and stock rooms

  • Blood draws, immunizations/injections, ear lavage, and EKGs

  • Basic first-aid and biometric screenings

  • Work one-on-one with providers and assist with procedures

  • Take messages from providers to follow-up with patients and call patients with results

  • Medication refills

  • Prior authorizations

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, greet patients as-needed
