Job Summary:

Strategically plan and play a primary role in the execution of all student-athlete recruitment activities for the Wisconsin Women's Basketball program. In addition, this position plays a substantial role in content creation for program social accounts.

Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Camp planning, registration, and execution
- Works closely with Equipment Manager to select program equipment and maintain equipment budget
- Compliance logging in ARMS for all recruitment-related needs
- Oversees monthly recruiting budget
- Creates in-house and on-campus recruiting content for digital representation of the Women's Basketball program
- Maintains all documentation and organizes all off-campus travel accommodations and information for coaches


Responsibilities:
Manages a program and/or programmatic activities. Initiates, develops, and implements operational services that support a defined project, program, work unit, or function to advance program goals and objectives. May supervise staff and/or approve unit expenditures.

  • 25% Plans, implements, executes, and evaluates existing strategies and objectives for a program and makes recommendations to unit leadership for program or function enhancement
  • 15% Identifies workflow needs, contributes to the development of strategic and operational solutions, allocates resources, and implements new or revised unit operational policies and procedures
  • 20% Schedules logistics and secures resources for program activities across multiple work units to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications
  • 10% Leads the development and preparation of periodic reports and financial statements, and records progress, status, or other special reports for leadership or external agencies
  • 10% May assist in the development and monitoring of the unit or program budget and approve unit expenditures
  • 20% Develop / create content for the Women's Basketball digital and social media accounts.

Qualifications:

- One to three years of intercollegiate athletics experience is required
- Experience providing administrative support to a major program within an organization, preferably in an Athletics environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Applied knowledge of NCAA and B1G rules and regulations

Full Time: 100%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Conditions of Appointment: This is a 100% Academic Staff. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
