Position Description:
The Research Program Coordinator I in the Department of Medicine will work across lifestyle program research studies targeting cancer survivorship and cancer prevention. The person hired will work closely with Study Coordinators, Program Manager and Principal Investigator to coordinate the daily administrative and community engagement program activities. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals.
Primary Functions
- Primary coordinator for the Every Day Counts research study. This includes recruitment, data collection and retention.
- Provide support and assistance with coordination of data collection for other lab research studies.
- Collect and enter participant data and physical assessment data.
- Work in collaboration with collaborative and medical partners.
- Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines and program components.
- Work with Director and Program Manager to maintain comprehensive databases and files related to lifestyle program research.
- Work with Director and Program Manager to support other lab-based research activities.
- Provide input on program implementation and results dissemination.

- Knowledge of research methods, community engagement techniques, project management, and cultural humility.
- Attention to details, customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
- The ideal candidate will have existing ties and experience with community facing work.
Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
Position Requirements:
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Required Experience: 2 years
Preferred Education: Public Health or related field
Field: Public Health, psychology, exercise science
Certification: CITI
