Job Summary |
The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development, External Engagement & Support Office is looking for student assistants to help with various tasks as needed. Hours can vary according to class schedules, with a max of 20 hours per week.

Essential Functions |
Assist the Event Director with the following regular duties:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, decor, and audio/visual equipment.
- Assist clients with pre-event planning, coordination of event setup, as well as audio-visual technical assistance within the Devall Room and The Boardroom at 540 at The Park. May perform these duties alone or collaboratively with supervisors and event operations staff.
- Monitor event inventory of equipment, supplies, and furniture etc.
- Monitor event space to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
Expectations:
- Must maintain a neat appearance.
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and move banquet tables as needed.
- Job requires walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
