POSITION TITLE: Designer, Electrical
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Designer, Electrical, to join our electrical design team and provide best-in-class electrical designs to customers and internal construction teams. This role will perform end-to-end electrical designing in close coordination with other designers and electrical engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn, a strong belief in the safety and well-being of team members, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform site walks to identify optimal design routes for new utility placement
- Prepare construction drawings based on customer-specific project requirements
- Perform detailed calculations to establish design standards and specifications
- Inspect installations and observe construction operations to ensure design and equipment compliance
- Utilize AutoCAD to design electrical utility installations
- Professionally communicate with internal team members, homeowners, customers, subcontractors, etc., and address any complains/issues that may arise
- Utilize knowledge of utility construction standards to design quality, end product designs
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role operates out of ADB's corporate headquarters located at: 18777 U.S. Highway 66, Pacific, MO 63069
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, copiers, and cell phones
- May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
- When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 0-3 years of design engineering experience required
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Utility placement experience preferred
- Valid driver license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
