COMPANY: Herc Rentals Employee Services LLC

DUTIES: Herc Rentals Employee Services LLC seeks a MuleSoft Developer (Bonita Springs, FL) to design, develop, support, maintain, and implement complex, large-scale operational and fault tolerant integration solutions. Understand business requirements, perform impact analysis and assess technical challenges/feasibility in achieving required business outcome. Work with HERC business users and/or external vendors to design, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions on the MuleSoft Any point platform. Design API layers, data model and specifications. Develop APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, Cloud Hub, Any Point Studio, Data weave and Any point MQ. Develop the appropriate unit test scripts in accordance with test cases as designed by the quality assurance analysis. Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability, and resource usage. Troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify the source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed. Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures. Work with team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance, and operational lifecycle. Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft, cloud integration operations, and delivery. Participate in IT security and compliance audits, work towards addressing security vulnerability/exposures as identified by IT security and IT audit and compliance teams.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years of supporting information technology computer systems and databases experience. Must have 3 years of experience in designing and developing APIs in large complex system environments using MuleSoft.
