The Electrical Technician will fabricate, test and troubleshoot electrical cables, Harnessed and electronic components and assemblies for US Army ground combat vehicles. Essential Job Functions: Harness and cable building. Electrical fabrication and test. Assembly of mechanical parts in our machine shop. Integration and testing of electrical and mechanical assemblies. Perform electrical and electronic component troubleshooting. QC/QA cable harnesses and box builds per IPC standards. Environmental and EMI chamber support for engineering. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of experience or Associates/Tech School and 5 years of experience. Basic soldering capability with IPC certification class III Ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams. Ability to interpret assembly drawings. Good problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Desired Skills: Familiarity with hydraulic systems, environmental test chambers, and linear actuators. Familiarity operating an overhead gantry crane. Experience driving forklift. |
