First Citizens Bank Equipment Finance is seeking Commercial Sales Rep/Business Development Rep in their Golf & Turf division. This dynamic role focuses on the financing of turf maintenance equipment, fleet golf cars, utility vehicles and other equipment used in golf, sports/professional turf, grounds care, hospitality, and similar industries. Favorable results will be achieved by the successful sales and relationship management of manufacturer and dealer/distributor contacts, national accounts, industry groups and end-user customers.


Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and solicit new manufacturer and vendor programs
  • On-Boarding new vendors and programs
  • Source new customer transactions and expand current customer relationships
  • Negotiate transactions, structure deals, gather information, facilitate credit review, and ensure transaction flow from start to finish
  • Develop strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor customers
  • Travel within the geographic territory and nationally is required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationships
  • Strong presentation, organization, customer facing, and time management skills
  • Works well independently and in collaborative environments

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial Services, Commercial Banking

-OR-

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial Services, Commercial Banking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, sales support, or Client relationship management
  • Leasing industry experience, preferably in golf, sports, or hospitality knowledge
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, knowledge of Salesforce.com and TValue (amortization) are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

NY the base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $98,000 - $148,000 per year.
