We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to lead the development of documentation for NetGuard Cybersecurity Dome. In this role, you will take ownership of end-user product documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability for global internal and external audiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, R&D, and Cybersecurity Experts, to create content that empowers users to maximize the value of Nokia's cybersecurity solutions. In additional to this role, you will partner Information Architects to advance the standards, practices, and technologies for the Technical Communication organization. As Technical Documentation Team Lead for Nokia's CNS Security Portfolio, you will:
- Lead strategic information design initiatives for product documents produced by the NetGuard Security Domain.
- Liaison with CNS Technical Documentation Information Architects and Content Strategists to coordinate our movement towards Help Center, influence harmonization, and lead modernization initiatives, presenting them as a common vision to both NetGuard Program members and NetGuard Technical Documentation peers.
- Partner with respective R&D, PLMs, Care & Services, and the CNS TechDoc community to provide and gain guidance, clarification, support, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment within the NetGuard Security Domain.
- Participate and prepare demos for knowledge sharing, showcasing TechDoc strategy and methodologies.
- Represent the interests of customers and end-users throughout the documentation development process, advocating for their needs and ensuring content delivers differential value.
- Research industry trends and emerging technologies related to Technical Communication, and incorporate new knowledge and skills into the documentation development process.
For NetGuard Cybersecurity Dome within Nokia's CNS Security Portfolio, you will:
- Define the scope of CuDo deliverables for NetGuard Cybersecurity Dome (NCYD) products in the NetGuard Security Domain, preparing documentation plans in Agile release cycles.
- Create, verify, and maintain clear, concise content for NCYD products and deliver documentation per agreed milestones with excellent quality.
- Engage with stakeholders, continuously sustaining alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and prioritize NCYD CuDo backlog based on inputs from stakeholders and customer feedback, ensuring that documentation for the most valuable features are delivered first.
- Anticipate risks, propose mitigations, and make timely and informed decisions regarding prioritization, scope changes, and any challenges that arise during CuDo creation cycles.
- Gather and synthesize Technical information throughout the development lifecycle.
- Report team progress to NCYD Program members based on agreed objectives and release goals.
- Ensure the requirements for Technical Documentation are delivered successfully, meeting the needs of both the business and customers.
- Peer-review documentation deliverables to support immediate and cross-functional team members.
- Upskill and mentor less experienced writers to ensure team success.
- Ensure deliverables are easily accessible to internal and external customers.
You have:
- At least 10 years of experience in Technical Writing for technical and end-user audiences.
- At least 5 years of experience project managing and leading TechComm teams in Software Development Life Cycles and Agile practices.
- Experience using XML Authoring applications, Git/Gerrit content management systems, and CI/CD publishing tools.
- Experience in evolving content strategy, information design, and information architecture, including structured writing, with demonstrated ability to consistently design and develop documentation that optimizes efficiency and reuse.
- Ability to influence transformation, modernization, and harmonization initiatives, focusing on what is important, with an eye for details that matter.
- Ability to work well with others, communicating clearly and positively in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively and deliver on commitments.
- Advocate customer needs and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, motivation, and the desire to produce meaningful outcomes.
