JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Summer Intern to join our Network Operations Center team for 11 weeks located in Lubbock, TX. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to various aspects of our network operations center, including but not limited to monitoring outage channels, assisting with outage and alarm notifications, providing support to the system administrator and conducting tool discovery. Our interns will be contributors to projects that directly impact our organization while developing their professional skillset.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Pursuing a degree in IT or a related field
• Experience working in the Microsoft Suite preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently while contributing to the success of the team in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Quick learner and not afraid to work with new computer-based programs and databases
• Ability to be effective and contribute in a fast-paced corporate environment
