Overview

S2 Global, an OSI Systems Company is seeking full-time Program Manager for its Torrance, CA office.

S2 Global is the leading provider of turnkey, state-of-the-art screening solutions for inspection and security. The solution is based on three core elements of concept of operations, training and software. This software key to the solution and is highly unique to the industry.

The S2 Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective and compliant delivery of S2 programs and services for worldwide contracts while meeting all customer requirements. The S2 Program Manager will lead various teams, working with internal Rapiscan groups, as well as third party providers as required, to successfully drive implementation of assigned programs and services across the globe. The S2 Program Manager will follow defined program management methodologies, with measurable key performance indicators tied to overall S2 revenue and profit goals/targets

The S2 Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and reporting on status of assigned S2 programs per contract requirements, including financial metrics, associated risks and mitigation plans, project deliverables/schedule, customer satisfaction and adherence to set budgets and margin goals. The S2 Program Manager is responsible for planning and executing projects to strict deadlines and within a defined budget.

The S2 Program Manager will interface with various entities, including local government

officials if necessary, and acquiring any necessary resources as needed, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver programs according to plan, and oversee all phases thru customer operations "go-live" commitment.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate company risk associated with any contract non-compliance, in a timely manner while adhering to program schedule.
  • Develop intercompany plans with Cargo Scanning and Solutions divisions and operational departments who will be supplying products and services to satisfy contract deliverables.
  • In country/local program management support for implementation of turnkey/services contracts in the region thru customer handover, transfer to local GM - specific requirements on a contract/project specific basis - reporting to overall project senior leader/owner
  • Liaise with all key contract/program stakeholders as required to facilitate and support project managers to execute developed plans/schedule to ensure overall program success.
  • Establish a strategy for construction work including robust subcontracts to allow management of civils contractors and oversee site construction to pre-defined schedule and cost goals to support overall S2 program deliverables.
  • Develop and report key metrics to track and manage Programs deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver periodic contract progress reports.
  • Follow corporate policies and technical procedures.

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field/Engineering or Business Management required. Program Management Certifications desired.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in program management of complex revenue driven programs,
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in non-direct personnel management with experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to manage local contract group and other functional groups remotely is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically MS-Project.
