Requirements: A high school diploma with a technical school certification. 7 years of direct experience in commercial building operations/maintenance. Previous experience with chemical treatment of non-potable water and steam systems. Massachusetts Refrigeration Journeyman License & a valid driver's license. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems/equipment. The ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. Maintenance Technician Day-to-Day Tasks Perform regular checks of systems and equipment to identify issues. Document systems and equipment performances. Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs. Check speeds, pressures, vacuum, and vibration of operating equipment. Communicate effectively with coworkers and customer staff. Other duties as assigned.
