CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Field Technician to join our Infrastructure - Water Team at our Wilmington, DE office.



YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.

The Field Technician is responsible for reviewing, tracking, and analyzing wastewater and stormwater data captured in the field. The professional in this role creates and maintains accurate records in a variety of databases and assists in the preparation and creation of various types of accurate and detailed reports to be shared with clients. This includes performing data analysis in the field and identifying any defects and/or discrepancies in the data. Additionally, the Field Technician tests and evaluates the performance of equipment, materials, and/or systems.

REQUIREMENTS

    High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience required; however, prior field experience and/or applicable coursework preferred
  • Sewer inspection experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in data collection and data entry preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics, some knowledge of formulas
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • Ability to operate various computer programs (GIS mapping software, AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
  • Strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
  • Demonstrates and promotes a positive attitude
  • Ability to work/stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • Ability to travel locally and out-of-state required


SALARY RANGE:

$22.11 - $26.44

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
