Position Summary The Manager, Facilities and Maintenance plans, directs and coordinates construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. Provides both a proactive and reactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure in the production facility. Increase the operational effectiveness, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving KPIs ensuring that EHS requirements are adhered to. Facility Operations
Budgeting, Cost Control, and Operational Efficiency
Team Leadership Lead maintenance technicians and facility staff, ensuring proper skill development, quality work performance, and adherence to safety protocols. Experience Requirements Five or more years of practical and supervisory experience in maintenance and/or construction/installation methodologies, planning and scheduling processes, financial reporting, monitoring systems is required. Previous Lean manufacturing experience preferred. Educational Requirements A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or related field is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, ten years or more of practical experience in maintenance and/or construction/installation methodologies, planning and scheduling processes, financial reporting, monitoring systems with at least five years supervisory experience is required. Previous Lean manufacturing experience preferred. Certifications/Licenses OSHA HAZWOPR 40-hour certification desired. Working Conditions Typical office environment with some travel between buildings and to other locations required. May be exposed to loud noises, toxic chemicals, and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor.
