About The Role

Summary


Citizens Community Bank is a rapidly growing community bank with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of all bank facilities, including both existing locations and new construction projects. This individual will work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors to ensure facilities are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and optimized for efficiency. The Facilities Manager will also serve as a project manager for new bank locations, overseeing all aspects of building construction and renovation.

Essential Functions:

  1. Facilities Maintenance & Operations:
    • Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all facilities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades by coordinating regular inspections.
    • Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and emergency repairs for existing buildings.
    • Oversee building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and ensure all systems are operating efficiently.
  2. Project Management for New Builds & Renovations:
    • Serve as project manager for new bank locations and major renovations of existing facilities.
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and communication for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with design specifications, local building codes, and safety standards.
    • Oversee the procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment for new and existing buildings.
    • Work closely with senior management to determine space requirements, floor plans, and design needs for new locations.
  3. Vendor & Contractor Management:
    • Develop and manage relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for ongoing facility needs.
    • Ensure service contracts are in place for regular maintenance.
    • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and monitor service levels to ensure quality and compliance.

  4. Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all facilities meet or exceed safety, environmental, and health regulations.
    • Conduct safety inspections and address any issues related to fire safety, security systems, and general building safety.
  5. Strategic Planning & Reporting:
    • Assist in long-term strategic planning for facilities management to accommodate the bank's growth and expansion plans.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on facility conditions, budgets, and ongoing projects to senior management.

Additional Functions:

  • Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
  • Represent in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
  • Regular and predictable attendance to accomplish assigned job duties.
  • Additional duties as requested or assigned.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in project management for construction and renovation projects.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance operations for commercial buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and facility management best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and facilities management software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
