Description
Scope and Responsibilities: Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Learn to manage and direct the sale of machine tools to companies ranging from small job shops to large corporations.
- Learn to prepare and deliver presentations on the technical features, CNC control and options pertaining to all Mazak machines
- Learn to prepare, deliver and explain machine proposals
- Learn to directly negotiate the sale of machines
- Learn Mazak sales systems and processes such as iQuote, Salesforce, Engineering Requests, Expenses, and related items in the Mazak Sales Portal
- Provide necessary post sale technical support as required
- Travel to and from customers as needed to conduct business.
- Attend local, regional, and national shows as required to assist in the promotion and sale of machines
- Support the Sales Account Manager currently working in a territory.

Education/Certification: * Associates degree is preferred or 2 years sales and/ or manufacturing experience.

Skills: * Background related to manufacturing, machines, or engineering * Must have strong computer skills and the ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and use other Microsoft office products, such as, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook/ Exchange, etc. * Ability to prepare business communication and send email as required. The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $80,000. EOE, including disability/vets
